Owned 4 since 2003, still have two.

1. Loved them all and still enjoy using them
2. 3 Cross were worse than Moto GB for parts.
3. Minor problems easily sorted with dealer backup who are always ready to help. Some dealers go the extra mile and their names are well regarded here on the site. A lot can be dealt with at home due to this site and the support here.
4. Italian companies are what they are but no worse than other non Brit companies to deal with where there is a language issue. Face to face I found them passionate and helpful but that was pre Chinese ownership.
5. Off road issues are minimal in 7 years - probably a matter of days in total.

Default Ready for this

Bought 2nd hand, though it was incredably cheap and immaculate. Owned it now for 4 yrs. I don't do many miles on it aas I work away a hell of a lot. This is written in a hotel bar in Putten, Netherlands (I live in the UK) and this is a local job !!

Collected from West Wales ridden back to Hertfordshire via Breacons - No problem

4 days later Core Plug goes after one session of a track day at Brands - home on a truck
Oil leak - and I mean Leak on way to track day at Brands - home on a truck ( I fixed it and was on the track by 12.00
Radiator burst at Silverstone - 1session after getting my knee down for the very 1st time - home in a truck - thanks Simon
Crashed at Donnington Park - Hit by another bike - Bummer - but rode it home
Core Plug
Clutch Basket - hole in it - fixed by Benelli God - Thanks Trusty Rusty
Crash Bungs - Do I have the only RS without machined Engine Mounts - -seems like it
Adjuster on Forks broke - Simon at Race Engineering made a replacement

Oh nearly forgot - it is VOR currently - failed it's MOT - Back Suspension - to much movement. (Rusty can be heard saying - "never heard of that before") Waiting for me to get a few hours to fix it.

Who do I trust with it - Rusty and Kieth of course and Simon from Race Engineering (was in Bishop Stortford - not certain where he is now)

Needs a Cam Chain - bugger more money - better work some more !

OH in case you think I hate the thing - I don't - I love it all again every time I ride it, including Tubing it on the M56 in a serious downpour - Kid you not the bow wave from the lorry went over my head - it gets that wet upnorth (doesn't it Angus)
or even when of i got off a BMW 1000RR (brilliant Bike) I still smiled bigger on the Nelli - strange world

I have propably missed a few but - love is blind (and makes you broke)

Southern service run Rusty?

Had mine 4 1/2 years possibly love it more now than when I originally got it.
We've had some problems but thats life, everytime I look at her I can't think of a nicer looking bike and the noise ahhhh the noise (not the bag of spanners one )

1 Fantastic bike
2 crap back up (does not include BENETTS)
3 more issues than any other bike i have owned
4 worst communication of any company i have ever dealt with
5 Time spent in repair /off the road 25% of time owned

lets hear your views then lads,
1 Best bike I've ever owned. When it works
2 Poor dealer training and parts supply makes backup iffy. Can't run a brand with one knowledgable bloke looking after them all.
3 Until recent meltdown only the indicators have failed. But then I've had a succession of faults one after the other. Still, better than an Triumph I once owned. 15 fork seals, incurable misfire, dodgy wheel bearings. indifferent factory
4 Yup, I'd second that. triumph at least told me to F**k Off
5 Been basically off the road since the middle of June though has managed to get out for long enough for another coil to go etc. More time spent in van than anything else I've everr owned and the first time I've needed roadside recovery for over 20 years.

Only owned mine for 3 months but i use it every day, we've done 2500 miles and it has been an absolute pleasure.Even in some of the torrential downpours we've had lately she ain't missed a beat and we've been through some very big puddles too.My local dealer is KJM and they've been great so far and the mechanic glenn seems to know his stuff. So for me nothing but positives and as for the bike well..........lovin it.....lovin it......lovin it

KJM and Moto GB are more or less the same thing. So no real surprises there then

Default oh dear

At 1199 kms, the battery went out, killing the entire bike. bought brand new battery. seemed to be OK.

at 1200 km's the timing wheel let loose and had to go to the doctor. Took them 6 weeks to put the wheel back on and replace the wheel cover.
Doctors said it may need a new clutch and gear, but gave it back with no dicussion on what was done.
Doctor told me they balanced the trottle bodies and ran a new map, but the tank was never removed. - remote balance i suspect ( yeah right).

Updated the battery cables, never a problem since.

But it power and torque + handling are out of the world, but people who care in australia are remote. shame, =
