did a little digging on the great big interweb, and came up with this... Looks a bit dodgy since the big pic is of a CR, but only one I found advertized online...

Also, if there were only 27 made, then only 21 was sold and this guy had the last 2 if the ad is correct... Adds to the dodgy-factor, methinks.

That add does sound a bit dodgy indeed John

I believe MotoGB still have at least 1 Titanium if you are interested and you would even get change back from the price of an R160 .............. Looks a bit better too it appears.

I can thoroughly recommend them

When I placed my order along with Mitch Mosely and Colin ? at the Misano Benelli do back in 2005 the factory detailed the following to us at the launch....

25 Titaniums to be made - They had left over bits so made a further two.
All would have dual mode maps and increase in power at back wheel over std. TNT, 12-14 bhp was muted as the power gain.
All would have Termignoni titanium full exhaust with an increased bore size throughout...50mm
All would use magnesium parts from the LE project
All would have matt finish carbon panels
All would have special edition high spec Marchi wheels same as LE
All would be dry clutch

Only 5 came into UK all via Mitch Mosely of Red Dog M/C. Majority went to Germany so I am led to believe.

I still have mine
Mitch still has his - kept as shop display in Edenbridge
Lawrence has one that originally went to Dorset area
Richard has Colin's
One went north - Mitch would know who.

A certain m/c designer with initials AM was trying hard to get hold of one a few years back.

The reason I ask is that I will be looking at one on Wednesday. Apparently two are available in the UK; from where I know not. At the moment my Benelli trust levels aren't exactly high and I'm not sure I fancy paying £10k (£850 less than an R160) for a machine that is at least 2 years old. Thanks for the responses.

Where are you going to view (pm me if keeping quiet) I know that there is a possibility of one of the two other UK bikes for sale. Mitch puts his up for sale occasionally (Red Dog, Edenbridge).

New price in 2005 was £14,500

Take photo's to compare real TNT Titanium as one or two created their own copy version of a Titanium from std. TNT.

Welcome to try one out!
