Default Paint or lack of it!

I know there have been threads in the past about the poor quality panels and the paint coming off but I posting this again with hope it may get through to MotoGB. I've been waiting 12 months for replacement lower panels as the paint has lifted off.

It really spoils what is a great looking bike and I'm getting more than fed up waiting for the panels. How long does it take to get parts?

Loosing the will the live with trying to get results from the dealer & importer now.

Default Paint Them

I couldn't wait that long. I know it is the point of reponsibility of their product but I would have those suckers at dreamworks or somewhere like that and prepped and painted 1 year, 11 months, and a week earlier. 23 months would be less than a tenner a month cost above waiting teh 2 years....just me though.

Default woeful

I agree with Johny.....there is clearly a problem with management somewhere, if an easy fix like paint takes longer than a few weeks to put right. Too many people in the line are washing their hands of the problem and the result is very damaging.

If we accept that a 7 year old bike out of the crate, doesn't exhibit symptoms, else they would not be purchased or some note would be taken at the dealer, then we must acknowledge that the flaking paint is a symptom of ownership wear and tear i.e. riding and washing. All bikes suffering this indicates a manufacturers defect so you would expect proactive steps to be taken somewhere along the line...alas not so.

I understand the factory is on holiday for a month v.soon....so they are not busy enough to work 12 months a year, but too busy to provide spares in a timely fashion.....in short they need a japanese style kick up the a***

Thanks guys for the replies. The bike has only been hand washed from new by me, never pressure washed (I have to admit to being a dry weather biker these days so it doesn't get dirty & its only covered 1,000 miles) Fingers crossed for some positive news soon.
