Removing the rear foot rests.exhaust bracket Qs

I decided to remove the rear pegs as I don't carry anyone else on the bike. To see how it looks without them.ill give it a couple of weeks as I'm not sure yet.
Anyway my Qs is the bracket that fixes to the foot rest and end can. Has anyone else removed there's and has the can been ok without the fixing bracket. See pics before and after. Thanks guys. steve

Why? The rear pegs are works of art that make up the sum of the ensemble.
You might as well remove your non-standard, awful after-market mirrors too.
    Sacrilege!

Alright pal I get the message. I've been looking at it for ages they have already gone back on. It looked odd without them so put them back on.
As for the mirrors I can't do anything about them they where already on the bike when I bought it and it don't have the originals. I'd love a set of the mirrors but rare and expensive so not at this moment in time . I have the original exhaust but I'll keep this one on as I quite like it at the moment .

    rear peg

I have removed the rear peg, but have left the hanger. Looks okay not sure about yours as it looks a bit bare without the hanger. Only my opinion.

I have a spare O/S mirror lurking somewhere you can have cheap when you want, they pop up from time to time on fleabay, slightly damage ones can be had very cheap too. But only buy if both pins are intact.

The OEM mirrors are a work of art and if rebuilt and greased correctly they do, contrary to belief, work well, well mine do anywho.

True. My uncle says he particularly likes the headlamp and the perfectly formed bulge, says stroking it reminds him of his wife before she got fat saggy tits lmao.
