It should come off Haydn. Remove the screw at the bottom on the lens, then you need to carefully swivel the lens up a little from the bottom to disengage the plastic tab at the top. Be careful though, as it's easy to break the plastic tab off if you don't do it correctly.

After you remove the lens, there is another screw that need to be removed which holds the reflector in place.

    Hi Laurence

Ive got the lens out eventually but it didn't come out per the manual the screws were non OEM i don't know if when the immobilizer was fitted
the fitter lost the screws but the top and bottom screws just span round as they were bolted in with nuts on the back, so i disconnected the loom
    to get it off
the outer black shroud around the light fitting needs to come off if possible its got a thin rubber seal strip in it, as picture but i think it might be part
    of the whole cowling

    many thanks for any help

I've changed my rear light to an LED type on my LE so I can't check but from memory it was the top and bottom screws that held the black shroud in place so once these have been removed it should ease right off. However, if the OEM screws have been replaced with nuts and bolts there might be something else retaining the shroud. I wonder if it would be worth removing the rear tail fairing to check it from the inside?
