    Stepper testing

I bought one of these about £6 on eBay. You can run the stepper at different speeds and both directions.

    That's innteresting.
I was sure that mine were broken on the Trek as i couldn't see any movement, tested one i had in spare, still no movement.
Plugged in the tuneecu and there it counts all the steps.
Ended up boosting the co level and she was back on a steady idle.

Guess i got confused by the video on Engenia's site, they seems to work/move different from the Tornado and the Trek?

There is a big difference between the Sagem and Walbro as to the way the stepper works. On the Walbro when first the ignition Is turned on, the stepper moves up until fully closed, then backs down slightly and should vary during running. But this depends on manual throttle setting, temperature and tickover set in tuneecu. It is very tricky to get everything just right like throttle bypass, tickover co etc. It doesn’t help that the manual is so vague.
