So where does one pick up an alternator drive? The part that the shaft teeths into?
The teeth are all chewed up on this bike and the new shaft will not mesh with it.

I can't find one for the life of me.

    Wakdady? Really?

I am working on it too. The usual benelli guy isn't responding, so I am trying to find the mythical Texas dealer. Or maybe some euro/oz dealer can ship it here

Americans with Benellis need to learn patience and ingenuity lest they spend much of their lives frustrated.

It isn't impossible to pull this stuff off, it just requires a little more dedication than a Kawasaki. If all else fails, Maniac is easy to work with.

    Cuz it's 'murica!

We have the shaft and gear in, we are trying to source alternator coupling. No response from Distefano or keeway

That's a z25 gear. Do you not have the shaft to go with it?

Nope. So it's useless I suppose.
The dealer was having a clear out of all Benelli parts, so I just bought it for no reason other than I have seen this part mention a few time in the past.

    I even bought this oddment...
