Some things are worth doing twice.
But when it is REALLY good .....
We're planning a trip north of Canberra at the end of November. Day 2 ends with a ride down the Oxley Hwy. Day 3 starts with the Oxley in reverse. Day 4 returns to the scene at days end. Day 5 ... you guessed it .... back up the Oxley.

It looks a sweet trip, must be about 2000 kms, if you are riding up as well as the round trip. Is this a nellie trip to add to all those reliable miles so far ?

If I get her cooling system up and running in time. I've had the electric pump running for a couple of years but never set it up the way I wanted to - effectively with a bypass thermostat. I've had the bypass for a while, but it never cuts off. Something like 3 lpm doesn't go through the radiator when the pump is running at 35 lpm. Currently I'm working on shutting down the bypass at high temperatures / flow rates with a solenoid valve but I have to control that too. I tried to do it mechanically with an overpressure valve of my own making, but I recently discovered problems with that idea & have dropped it

FYI, last year Nell developed what I think is a big end problem. I'm swapping another engine in so that I can investigate that at my leisure.
So she's not quite as reliable as I've previously touted. She got me home though.

I might have to change my signature

Bit harsh on poor Nell?! I reckon you've more than had your money's worth...

This is the only forum that has allowed it, so it stays.
( I do hate to say it, but aren't we getting a bit off topic?)
