My finger hovered more than once Ian but I have to keep telling myself that I have other priorities and no space as it is....
Has one of you classic enthusiasts bagged this little beauty?
Fortunately, it is a long way from me, as my finger was hovering over the button.....
Can anyone fill in more info on this model?
Haha, you too, eh!
I was hoping our classic friends might have come up with some info on it. It is certainly no GP winning works racer, but appears to be roadster-based. I guess the factory made them as a production racer for club riders, maybe?
The basic design seems to have been used for several models over several years, all 4 stroke single sports roadsters, 125, 175, 200 and 250cc.
It seemed cheap to me....
It's a converted road bike. The Motobi Imperial 125 dates from 1961/62
Benelli Tornado 900 LE No. 49
Benelli 1130 TNT Titainium
Benelli 1130 TRE-K
Benelli 750 SEI
Benelli 250 2c
A bit earlier actually, certainly back to 1957. They did a range of road bikes in that style, but I was wondering if the factory actually produced a 'production racer' version. I have found a picture of another race version, but it is too small to attach here.
Maybe they just suited being converted to a race bike.
