    '74 125 2C - RHS Head and Barrel needed

Having almost got my '75 Benelli 125 2C running I stumbled upon a '74 same spec model and thought it would make a great donor bike. I am now struggling with the thought of effectively destroying the donor machine and am now hoping to find the missing right hand cylinder barrel and head on the '74 that would complete it.
Is there anyone out there with spare RHS barrel and head - thought I ought to check before exploring the Detlef route!

Is this the first sign of Benelli Addiction?

    Thanks

    Tim

Thanks Ron - already a member and have had great support from the guys there in getting the first bike sorted. You are right £20 is good value.

I now know why the head and barrel vanished!

Like all things engineering - there is a logical explanation - yes the piston was still there but the crown was pebble dashed and a lump was missing from the skirt - engine rebuild and a piston assembly now needed.

Anyone know any one willing and recommendable to do the re-plating of the exhausts and mufflers in the north?

    Lost Keys

Thought I would give an up date - the bike was bought without ignition keys and a search of this site gave me the name of Basildon Locksmiths www.basildonlocks.co.uk

I turned up with lock in hand yesterday and walked out 15 minutes later with 2 keys and loads of information from a guy that clearly loves his job and provided a great service!

Sadly I am still a long way from having a running machine - one step forward!
