I'd be interested to know if your exhausts do need changing. As a prospective 2C (with rusty pipes) owner the only thing I have found are racing expansion chambers or other rusty pipes on Ebay.
I am having a re-think on my current project -a 1974 125 2C with cast iron barrel - I have recently found that the crank is "past it's best" and understand that changing the top crank-case, barrels, rods, heads and carbs to a 250 is easy - however may I ask if anyone has done this and if the exhaust system for example would also need changing?
As I already have a '75 125 2C the thought of adding a 250 is quite tempting and possibly defendable to my wife...
I am hoping that existing drums will suffice and the chain gear could be retained.
Any advise please?
Thanks

the bore and stroke on the 250 is completely different to the 125,if you got a complete 250 i reckon you could make it fit,it would be a lovely conversion, anyone got one for sale ?
