    New on this forum with a 250 2c first serie

    Hello, I'm Peter and live in the Netherlands ,Europe (Holland)
    I hope my english is good enough for the forum......
    I have a first serie 250 2c (1972 model)
    This bike is completely Original and never restored.
    Got 12000 km on the speedo so that's about 7500 miles.
    Found it as a barnfind and it was from the second owner.
    I'm very glad with this little bike

    Hi Peter
    Welcome to the forum. Your bike is a very early production model has it got points ignition rather than the usual electronic type. Could have been converted later in its life. I have the 125T version of your bike and I have also owned a 2C. The 2Cs are a very underrated model from Benelli but it did last in production for approx. 15 years.Hope you have some good times on the little stroker.

    Hello Steve,

    Mine bike is a very early production model
    Has only 4 numbers in the frame
    I'm also a member of the Dutch Benelli club and they have a register
    They told me it's the oldest framenumber the have in their register.....
    It is cpmpletely 100% Original and so it has points ignition.
    I have really good time with this bike
    I also won a price with it on the national veteran motorcycle show in Woerden Netherlands
    for it's originality

    Steve a 125 t is a nice bike too

    Mayby mighty handy
    A good friend of mine here in the Netherlands,
    got almost everything for 2 stroke Benelli / Motobi
    A lot of it is for the 250 2c

    He's a real Benelli fan and member over 20 years of the Dutch Benelli Club

    Hi Peter
    You mention the four digit frame numbers, and it reminds me that a man in England has also got a four digit number. It is a 1972 model with points ignition and was imported from Germany many years ago. Thanks for the link to the spares for 2c in Holland, it could prove very handy.

    My friend Sytze said he had already a mail from the USA for silencers.....

    Ok about the Benelli

    It has the typical rare items for the '72 that made a difference with the younger models

    For example:
    Aprilia head and tail light
    Borrani rims aluminium
    Different frame because the footpegs are not directly on the frame
    but on a special construction that's under the frame.
    The end of the silencers are different
    Pistons got extra grooves at the top
    revited crankshaft
    Cast iron cylinders
    22mm carburators
    First gear up 4 down
    and some things more

    Great looking bike, I got a 250 2c last year, Will done mate make a change to see 2c from all the RD& GT out there
