    Benelli 250 2c KMO 586W

Just a long shot does anybody in the club own this bike? I bought it new in 1981 and wondered if it was still in existence .

Last taxed in 1990. So not looking too hopefull. Might be in some barn or shed somewhere just waiting for you Rob
    A nice pair of nellies

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

hi. Mine is 588. It has a motorcycle city number plate on it. I wander why there are so many with such similar numbers.

The story of the these bikes all having the same registration is that Motorcycle City bought all the bikes that the importer T K M had. They then registered them all in one lot because the tax was due to rise to a higher rate of tax being put on bikes. Mine was bought from Motorcycle City in Greenford although brand new it showed it was registered some 6 months earlier to them. The first owner is Motorcycle City on the registration document, there are a lot of Benellis with similar registrations.
it has been interesting to find so many other bikes close to my old 250 2c.
