    TS 250 resurrection

Hi, first post here. I'm 56 years old but for some reason have always kept my first bike....Moto Guzzi TS 250 drum brake. I paid £300 for it in 1978 when it was 2 years old and i was 17. I rode it for 5 months getting a speeding ticket a month. I lost my licence. Bike never went on the road again. Has moved around with me and ended up in a sorry state. Was used a few times unsuccessfully in mablethorpe beach races but thats all. I've tarted it up now and been loving riding about on it lately...I need a new rear sprocket though and I'm dammed if i can find one...Any ideas...?

Search on this site in the old threads, I went to the trouble of making one then got told you can still buy them, I think its a German company but someone here will certainly help you find one, bike looks a treat by the way don't ever sell it !

B&C will make an ally rear sprocket from a blank for £51 Inc vat. They say it's 530 with 36 teeth. I thought it was 428...?

Hi EBay Italy list sprockets from time to time all the stuff I buy arrives ok.
great bike and you have kept it all these years! I have had my 900 SEI since 1985.
its like riding an old friend, I still enjoy it today as much as I did when I first got it.
The 2c is a a great handling bike and yours looks in good original condition, enjoy riding it!

I bought an alloy rear sprocket from a Belgian bloke at the Stafford Classic bike show last year who specialises in classic Ducati spares. His name is Marc Parfait. His email address is [email protected] and his phone number is 00.33(0)771612463. The ones he sells are new sprockets in various numbers of teeth to fit the Grimeca hub. I like your Kawasaki by the way.

Ooh, that poor old sakakaki. I bought it in 1986 2 yrs old. It's been my hack ever since and has lived outside all its life. It's done 160,000 miles and stills goes really well. I think it's beyond a viable rebuild now.
Thanks for sprocket info, I'll mail him.

Looks like it's seen a good bit of action. Still a great bike though.

You could try Index I got in touch with them and they said they could make me a dural sprocket for my 2C if I give them the dimensions. I haven't checked so don't order from my sizes but I think the measurements are as in the attached image.
