    254 front brAke

    New original caliper found and installed . So what’s the secret to bleeding this. Not getting any fluid from the reservoir to the caliper tried vac pump syringe . Caliper not blocked as checked . But pipe from cylinder by reservoir to caliper dry.

    Make sure there is plenty of free play between the master cylinder piston and the actuation rod. If the piston does not return all the way, the little hole that fluid normally returns gets covered and it will not bleed.

    I have much better results with pressure bleeding over vacuum bleeding, but that means making some special adapters for most motorcycles.
