    Oko carbs for 250 2c

Anyone fitted these as alternatives to 25 Dell ortos? What size carbs for a mildly ported ally barreled model wth pod filters & Higgspeed pipes

I have a mate with a 250 2C racer and he is looking to upgrade to 30mm carbs (tossing between Dellorto or Mikuni). Do you have any baseline specs (jets needles etc) for the mIkuni? I believe he has Aluminium barrels, mild porting, chambers but not sure what else has been done so far. Just know it still has 25mm Dellorto on it..

    Cheers

    David

If your mate is still tossing (although I hesitate to call him a tosser) - out of those two, I'd suggest MIkuni. Dellortos are not bad, but the general quality of castings and machining of Mikuni seems to be a little better and fuel metering slightly more accurate - in my experience anyway.
