Guzzi 250 TS Front brake lever bracket wanted.

I'm still looking for a front brake lever pivot bracket for my 1975 Guzzi 250 TS, drum brake model. It's the last missing part to complete a restoration. I have tried all the usual sources in UK, Germany, US, Italy and ebay worldwide and so far I've drawn a blank. Someone out there must have one in reasonable condition. It's the alloy type only fitted to 1975 Guzzi 250 TS and the 1975 Benelli 250 2C with double drum front brake. They changed over to a hydraulic disc the following year. The Guzzi part number is 39-60-10-00. A very similar bracket was fitted to drum brake models of the Benelli 500 Quattro( Part no. 3860960799), the Guzzi 350GTS(Part no. 61-60-10-00) and the Benelli 125 2C (Part no.386.110.0.799). These last three are almost identical only lacking a hole for the choke lever mount which I can easily drill. If you have any one of these brackets spare please do contact me at : [email protected] Many thanks for reading this.

    Guzzi250 lever bracket.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately if you look closely at the bracket on ebay you can see that it is not a brake lever bracket but rather an upside down clutch lever bracket from the left hand side and fitted with brake lever and choke lever. I've emailed the seller and told him this and he has acknowledged my message but still continues to advertise it at a ridiculous price made all the more ridiculous by the fact that he was advertising the clutch lever side for £19.99! Caveat emptor!

Thanks for the link to this Facebook group. Very helpful but some of the translations are hilarious.
