I see a clutch cover with alternator ‘back’ on eBay.
Perhaps cut the slots on this part? But of course much more difficult to swap out.
I never had any alternator issues on my 750 sei I owned new, including 120º ride across the Mojave in the summer (many, many years ago). But of course that was just one ride. Most of the time here in NW Washington is it quite cool.
I’ll keep my eyes open.
