    I have... But I'm using them ..
    You've taken a basket apart then? ...
    How'd that go ? .
I did toy with the idea of setting them in a rubber compound to make things a lot quieter . Then I thought of all the small oil ways getting blocked when it inevitably broke down under the extremes 😞 ....

I have sent you pictures now of what it looks like when apart.
If you look at the seats in the alloy finger basket, where the springs sit, that basket had done under 7K.
It is the weak point, not a Benelli part , but Sureflex.
Once the basket wears , the more movement , means bigger and bigger seats, I have even seen them wear right through the casting, visible from inside the basket, under the stack of clutch plates.
New springs will not save the clutch, the alloy finger basket needs replacing.
I don,t think you can get one , unless the OEM manufacturer offers one for rebuild.

I have quite a bit off groovage in the spring pockets but it isn’t through the casing. Has anyone any thoughts is it best to smooth these or leave them?
    i also have 2 springs(white) broken.

Hi NM I would prefer new but I’m not sure they are available how much would you like for them including postage?
just to confirm these are the torsional damper springs not the pressure plate springs.
    thanks.

Anyone know where these can be bought? Bennett’s and Maniac say no.

You could get a spring manufacturer to make a set. That way you can get them exactly the right length so they wouldn't rattle. Probably cost a couple of bob though.
