    Benelli tnt 1130 century racer

    Hello everybody
I have just bought 2011 century racer TNT1130. It have 1.500km. But i dont understand how it have only 129hp? My 2004 TNT 1130 have 140hp. I thought the newer have 160hp?
Can anyone explain me this? Is it just a map or ECU or is it different engine inside?

    Thank you
    regards
    Roman

only the R160 and Tornado 1130 have more power.
The TNTs from 2004 haven´t a catalytic converter thats the main reason for more power.

Ok i understand. But if i put in ECU map from R160 is it going to be ok or can i destroy the engine?
I have already remove the air flaps, Lambda sond, exhaust is empty with great sound, no ex up

Funny guy! I wouldnt do that! Only changing the map doesn't mean you get 20hp more!!!!

129hp on the paper doesn't mean you have it in real, its possible you have more, but its also possible you have less. It's a italian bike if "Giovanni" had a good day its possible that your bike has more power if he had a bad day or weekend because of "Mrs. Giovanni" ohh ohh ohh

Yep but the Century Racer should be running smoother and the engine should be quieter than your 2004 one. The difference is normal and I know some people who prefer the older TNTs because of this! Thats the dark side of the emission regulations

The first thin i did was removed all the eco stuf on the bike. The exhaust is free of everything, like 2004. No air flaps. It is just as noisy as the old one ?. But performance is......i don't know

The noise from the old models is more coming from the engine the newer models are much quieter in the engine area. I dont know what parts have been change/updated by Benelli over the years but its not only the mapping. Contact a Benelli dealer to get this information.

You can buy identical benellis (year and type) but they are different in hp... its a italian bike..... Maybe you have much luck with your TNT out of 2004. Have you ever had it on a Dyno to see how much power it really has?

No never on dyno. But it realy runs perfect. I am building and reparing and restoring bikes for over 20years. But i fell in love with this 2004 tnt.
I am building now restomod kawasaki z900 mixed with tnt parts?. It will be top bike.
What i am trying to say is that i am not some kid with bike but this two benelli's are giving me so much questions like i was born yesterday
