Not sure from the pic why you say it's had a hard life. It looks like it has some carbon fibre parts which is no bad thing. The key thing is to find out whether it has the Z25 gear and clutch basket upgrades (most importantly the Z25) and if not, make sure you carry them out. In my opinion unless there is something I'm missing I think you're getting a hell of a lot of bike for £3K and even if you have to do the upgrades yourself you'll get far more than £3k's worth of fun for your money.
It's my bike. Bought it off a guy on here. But when I took the fairings etc off to tidy it up. All fasteners are different. Corrosion all over the engine etc. Nothing really fits well.
Looks like it was someone's track bike.
