Anyone had a blast on a 675 Street Triple?

Alongside my beloved TnT CR I’ve recently bought an FZ6 for the daily work commute.

Now I’m not saying the FZ6 is not a good bike because it is a nice enough machine…So long as you don’t mind thrashing the crap out of it to get anywhere near the claimed 90bhp.

I’m now considering selling the FZ6 and spending the extra cash on a Triumph 675 Street Triple.

So basically I’m very interested to hear any feed back from those who’ve had a blast on the new 675 Street Triple as I believe this forum to be one of best in terms of it’s members.

It's a great wee bike. It has very small proportions.. ultra slimline. That said, it is nice and nimble and both sounds and goes very well. Gets my thumbs up.

As mentioned previously.. go get yourself a demo from your local dealership this weekend and let us know how you get on with it. Good luck

Thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated.

As it's going to be used to get to and from work I like the idea of a slimline bike that still has a decent amount of poke, well for a mid-size engine anyway. My commute involves getting through the centre of London so it needs to be a bit of a traffic-buster, which the FZ6 seems to do very well I have to admit.

I hear the suspension on the 675 st triple's a bit on the soft side. As long as it's not too spongey I reckon I can live with that.

Not sure I'll get a test-ride this weekend but i'll certainly be looking to book one up very soon, I'll let you know how I get on.

it's certainly been getting rave reviews and is about the best value for money in that market segment. Never been a fan of the speed triple style myself, but the 675 street seems to be a great little bike.

This is all very encouraging, I'm only 5"6 so the 675 St triple should suit me down to the ground..If you pardon the pun

I will certainly be booking up a test ride in the near future.

Just spent a small fortune on 07 CR (Termignoni Titanium end-can, DNA filter, PCIII’d and time on a Dyno amongst other work) And she’s still not right, still, the very professional establishment who undertook the work are right behind me and will not rest until she’s threatening to break the sound-barrier.

Back to the 675 St Triple; Sounds like a cracking little bike, I’ll let you know how I get on once I’ve managed to get a test on one.

Hey Darren, sorry to hear that your having a bit of a problem getting that bike to run sweet. Stick with it though cause you just know it'll be worth it when you do

    How was the Termi fit?
