Come on , give us the full story, what was the issue ?
I am surprised they could not give you the documentation there and then.
Did they sting you the £50 ransom fee ?
Did they back down on the CoC/IVA/ old SVA issues.
All information is useful, they have played lots of people about, I remember the guy who registered a stored LE, same sort of crap and I think he ended up on an age related plate , something to do with emissions, and current conformity. So it was New , but was not according to DVLA.
Depending on who you get, who handles your application, If the person is pissed off with his job , it flies through, if its a new broom trying to prove how good they are , well look out , they will flip you over and dance through hoops .

May be you was just unlucky !

I rang them in the morning, they told me about the covering letter. Took all the documents to Swansea, really helpful lady saw me, BUT she did say this wonít guarantee a V 5. All they do there is collate the documents and send them upstairs. I wouldnít be surprised if it gets rejected again. There was no further charge, just the registration fee(£55) and six months tax (£50.05)

They must have given you some reasons for rejecting the application
If I can help, I will, but I do not understand the problem .

It aint Brexit is it? For christ sake, we could register vehicles used anywhere in the world , to use on British roads , providing we had details of previous use abroad .
I "think" you have that .

Not surprised , its been previously used and registered in France

You require an age related plate in keeping with the 08 registration on bike when used in France. surely you have the plate and french papers.
The reason they are asking for a CoC is to see the bike conforms with U K requirements for 2019 ( which of course it does not ), you only have to look at the Vin number to see year of manufacture .

Was it not the last , previously unregistered LE that was made to have a 03 plate even though it was brand new , because it did not conform with UK emissions !!! but did in 2003 !

think the member was Powerful Pierre .

Yes, I know all that, but this is the only reply I get when I send all the documents in. Iíve spoke to DVLA and VCA and they all tell me different things.

I have the french registration document, bill of sale and itís even motíed!

If they wonít register it,they wonít register it. Itís CoC or SVA which iíll try and organise this week.
