If your up for selling I’d be interested I;any state it’s in . Again welcome and good find as I know how it feels having bought a Tornado for £500 it’s a good feeling <img src="https://www.benelliforum.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.png" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" />
Thanks mate, it was by pure luck to be honest. I was on holiday talking about benelli and a bloke said he had a tnt CR. He didn't have any photos so I didn't really believe him! But he was a top bloke. Has 3000 miles, I plan to look at the Z25 gear this weekend and will research upgrading the starter cables. Cheers for your help

Welcome, I have owned a cr1130 for about 5 yrs with no trouble so congrats on your find ! If it's been through bennetts a good chance that the z25 was done.
Most parts are the same as the std tnt, ebay italy and Germany always worth a look. Tends to be daft things like the clutch cable that are bespoke.
Looking forward to following your video diary on the rebuild...
Whilst certainly very rare, I wouldn't put too much faith in howmanyleft...it tends to depend on how the dealers submitted the bike info to dvla at registration. Think bennetts suggested up to 20 ish 1130 cafe racers in the uk (was an 899 too) so clearly common as muck....
    Pre Benelli, ZR50SL, RS100, BMW R50/5, RD400, CB350K4, GPZ550, CB900, 750 KATANA, GSXR750, FIREBLADE, TL1000S, 955i Daytona, GSXR 1100L, GSXR1000K6.....

    Now; 2003 900 Tornado, 2008 900 Tornado, 2009 CR 1130, 2010 1130 Tornado...and the diesels...Ducati 848 for when four italians are not enough... a 750 srad ....when 5 italians are too many.......and now an '81 Katana......for those mid life crisis days....

Cheers ianh, it went to bennets for the first two services and also to be remapped and have the exhaust changed so hopefully the z25 has been done but I shall check. Hoping to make a video each week. Thanks for the advice I really do appreciate it. P.s everyone is so nice on here! On other motorbike forums I've been slaughtered!

    There's still time yet

I think Bennets will be able to tell you if it's been done if you get in touch with them. There is also something about a punch mark by the frame number, but I'm not 100% sure what that means, someone will know though.

Yeh we are are small but committed band...or perhaps we should just be committed...! Loads of great knowledge on here, and Errol (engenia) has a full website on the tornado, to which the cr/tnt is very closely related.

I've uploaded another video if anyone is interested. Going to start looking at the electrics next week.

Don't take this the wrong way, but, it comes across to me as a video that's been made just for the sake of making it, there's no actual content. Although the child in me did giggle a few times when you were bent over cleaning the bike, that thumbs up picture covering the plate was very inconveniently placed a few times

The first video was cracking, you're excitement came across and it was quite informative.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to knock you, you're much braver than me, I couldn't put myself in front of the camera like that, but the content needs to keep people interested, not just a few Benelli enthusiasts but a wider audience.

No I appreciate your honesty, I want to show each step but of course I do need to make it more interesting.

I was petrified uploading the first video &#x1f602; after rewatching that thumb is certainly the wrong place!!
