    Re-Map or PC

So i can either get my bike re-mapped for $200 AUD (because the battery was removed)
or buy a PC kit and do it myself ?

    What would you do ?

    2005 TNT1130 - so im guessing a PC 3 ?

    Hi .
removing the battery should not of removed the installed map .
Unless you were half way installing a new map onto it.
In that case if a reset/restore within Tune ECU win fix it I doubt fitting a PC will help .
    I may be wrong ...

A PC is fine on a bike that has the map locked, but that's not the case in the TNT, so it's a waste of money, time and effort, for no benefit. I've heard of places doing that to Tres, but only by people who didn't know any better.
TuneECU is free and the hardware needed is minimal cost, so it's a no-brainer.

No need. It is possible that you have to reset the tps sometimes in this case but not anytime you remove the battery.
