Judging by the dust on the bags, they had been on the shelf for I reckon over 10 years, I wonder what the exchange rate was then, when you think a euro was worth about 60 pence when it was started.
He gave me a cam chain tensioner as well, the nylon guard that runs on the chain cos he didn,t know what it was ! that was 20 euro plus the tax
They look to have originated in France because the description is in french, but the bags are Benelli SpA .

No I didn,t ask how he got them ! I came away a happy bunny.

I am looking for a left side rear indicator for a tornado, which is the same as a cafe racer.
    Pre Benelli, ZR50SL, RS100, BMW R50/5, RD400, CB350K4, GPZ550, CB900, 750 KATANA, GSXR750, FIREBLADE, TL1000S, 955i Daytona, GSXR 1100L, GSXR1000K6.....

Now; 2003 900 Tornado, 2008 900 Tornado, 2009 CR 1130, 2010 1130 Tornado...and the diesels...Ducati 1199s Panigale for when four italians are not enough... a 750 srad ....when 5 italians are too many.......and now an '81 Katana......to remind me how good modern bikes are...
    ....
