    Advice Needed

Sold my fireblade and its now or never if i'm going to get a benelli.
RS Motorcycles(halifax) are advertising a 2008 TNT 1130 evo for £5495,1148 miles, model year 2005,first registered 1st March 2008.Price seems a bit low to me.Was going to wait untill winters over but if I could pick up a bargain before all the better.
    Would really appreciate any advice.

    its no evo

evos were made 07 onwards, a 05 build was the one with the fans mounted behind the radiators etc, I'd be very careful of getting one pre 06 useless they GAURANTEE its had everything done to it.
    fan mods
    Z25
    Alternator shaft upgrade
    latest mapping
    etc

I have seen this bike and its a lovely looking bike and well worth considering, the place selling is a salvage dealer and therefore cannot do anything else but sell it and only be able to pass on previous owners details which might have the information to see what mods were done by supplying dealer.

Some decent bargains at the mo and looking at a Benelli right now can be got for cheap money even more than other brands being pushed on right now.

Took another look, bike shown definetly an evo(I think)
On ebay states 2005 model but go direct to website and no mention of this.
This is why I asked for advice, don't want to end up with a bag of spanners.

Yep its an Evo 137 hp very torquey Radial brakes which shows the difference mostly from other Tnt's and classic in the white

New an Evo is now £7999 so its a chunk below although i would try for less than the advertised £5495 and try for £5K as its winter now and you have the benefit of nelli's being harder to shift unless your one of us lot !

Dont forget the chassis number will give away the build year as it'll show 05 or other .

Just got back after viewing TNT,seems like a bargain to me but their was a few things gnawing away.
No service booklet or owners manual, didn't know if it had been serviced.
Mileage on clock corresponded to what was advertised but how do I know if this is genuine.Previous owner said he had lost them
    Checked chassis no.,10th digit was a 8.I believe this makes it a 2008 model,am I correct?
Took four attempts to start but once up and running sounded just fine.
Would only come down £95 on price, offered £5000 there and then but he dismissed it out of hand.Probably could have got it for £5300 if I'd pushed, will sleep on it.
To be honest If I had more mechanical nous and knew what to look for and was confident everything was ok would have bought it there and then.
    Any views appreciated.

My tnt has 5 letters then 5 numbers

    like this

    ABCDE62008MMMMOOP

    Its a 2008 model

Just over 1000 miles on the bike, it will still look pretty new I would imagine

Sounds a bargain, even allowing for a service for peice of mind

They are down in price to 7999 from 9500 new also
    Eric

Benelli free just hanging around taking in the shit
