    Where's the indicator relay?

Embarrassed to ask but before I pull off loads of plastic unecessarily, where is the indicator relay located? Is it under the seat with the other relays or at the front end somewhere?

I can't find mention of it in the workshop manual (other than on the wiring diagram) and the descriptions of the relays under the seat only mention "Safety" relays, which I presume means the sidestand switch, clutch neutral etc for starting.

Hopefully, this'll be a nice short thread

    Cheers

    Pike,
as you guessed its under the seat, at the bottom but seperate to the bank of relays as you look at them with the rear seat off.
Unfortunately you have to remove the rear cowling to get at it, you may be able to just by loosening the cowling off and pulling it gingerly to one side.

My tip is to get two persons, one can then hold the front of the cowling between the seats area to prevent it from fracturing as you tease it wide to get it over the fans, take it gently and will be fine, Steve.

It's shown as 'Blinker' in the wiring diagram, within the TNT workshop manual but no clue as to location. Please let us know when you find out.

Right behind the left hand (clutch side) radiator under the air box.

Cheers for that - That's pretty much where the sound is coming from.

However, we're under a lot of snow in the UK at the moment so I won't be out in the shed any time soon

When I do find it, I'll be sure to post a picture

    Thanks again

    Question Relay location

    Hi there,
I have a TRE-K Amazonas that has suffered the water in the relay problem and I cannot find the relay anywhere. I wondered if you ever found it. I've had the side panels and the tank off, the top of the airbox too but no relays are to be found. Did you ever take a pisture?

    Thanks

    Gareth

My indicator relay is up front near the headstock tucked up in the wiring loom on the right hand side .
    Hope that helps .
And yes it's a tank off and front side plastics off for a better view .
