    Image Posting Rules-IMPORTANT

This forum is not responsible for the images that you post here. We assume that you have the rights to use them.

We would like to suggest that you obtain permission before using any images that you do not own outright. At the very least, we ask that you give credit to the source or a backlink to their website where possible. Most publications will not mind as long as some kind of quid pro quo is given.

    Thanks!

    Roland,
on the very valid point of giving credit where credit is due.

what about giving credit for quotes?

as an eg: apologies to RobFM
"Fear is the path to the Dark Side. Fear leads to anger; anger leads to hate; hate leads to suffering."
(one of my favourite lines from the series)
but especially when placed under the flapping banner of St George!!
it might be misleading to un-enlightened souls who like St George have never watched Star Wars, who may be inerrantly led to assume that it was a quote by the veritable saint himself!

    Cheers.

    Rob,
    Guilty for what?
    & what charge?
    If...
not the Light Brigade's against the Russians of 1854 in the Crimea?
not the Light Horse's against the Turks of 1917 in Palestine?
not the Savoia Dragoons' against the Soviets of 1942 in the Ukraine?
it must be the 9th Armoured Brigade against the Afrika Korps of 1942 at El Alamein, also known as Operation Supercharge, that tragically fatal decision by Montgomery that eventually led to success!

I'm guilty for everything mate.......just ask my lovely wife !

as for the quote, I quite agree so here's a link to the original so Star Wars get their little bit of advertisement, I too love those series of flicks,

and as regards history, it's all in the past for me mate (sorry for the pun )

I did like history at school (if I can remember that far back) but with such a shite memory I can never remember most the stuff I learnt, and I certainly don't envy you being a teacher , so if you fancy setting up a history forum, I'll be you #1 pupil,
