900 does it seem to have been as badly affected by the z25 issue as the 1130, bu they can fail...mine did !
It has also got 27k miles on it and has taken me all over the uk, plus several trackdays.
They do have issues, but then so do so many mainstream bikes....cracking frames on gsxr1000, honda camchains and rectifiers etc

You can check it any time .
The bolt on the alternator side is a good place to start if your concerned about it coming loose. Or check it if it's a bitch to start when hot ...for Example just after a full up at the petrol station...

P.S ... Look at your message settings can't send messages to you for advice ect .

I guess the lack of posts about the 900 is due to the majority of them now in the scrap yard .
Or that the owners are too afraid to get them out of the garage in fear of a breakdown .
I'd love to see how many are over 25000 miles .
    For Christ's sake!
Pistols at dawn, or swordsyour choice.

Those with 900s have had them long enough to not need support, hence the few posts. Not many get traded.
Mine has done well over 25,000 miles. Well over 100,000 kms in fact.
She's always got me home, except the two times her rear tyre was staked in the high country. There's only so far you can ride anything when a tyre has no air in it! (I stuck it out for 10 km before finding a secure place to hide it. It took an hour.)

    I know Right....
My only choice was to firstly put an answer the question to the original poster in this thread .. and I did also add I may of been wrong .
It does seem that some people lurk in the distance just to jump ontop of others belittling them for the amusment of others..
Pisses me right off when when snipets of posts get used for ridicule.

I'd like to add I do not enjoy being used as a punch bag for such things nor do I humiliate others for the fun of the other viewing forum members .
I'm sure their are plenty of benellis with high mileage too.

It's A shame that they don't add something interesting to the topics in hand .
    Present company excluded .

The list goes on and on, , R1M recalled for gearbox rebuild as it shredded 2nd gear , VTR cam chain tensioners , you suddenly had a single , Ducati timing belts the same result..
Ain, t now,t wrong with a Benelli , regular maintenance can not overcome. Highest miler I have is the RS at 33K, and it has had some abuse . Still love it .
