    I've noticed the starter cuts then Carry's on when re start it ,took it out yesterday was cool weather but was running very hot and fans on quite a few times ,also how do you top up the expansion tank the coolant filler is full but only a dribble in the side tank only had jap bikes and they normally got a cap on expansion tank bit the tornado is hidden at side of tail unit lol

    Re starting ,
    your sprag clutch may be on the way out.
    Hard to tell without hearing the attempted starts when hot .
    The expansion tank on any bike shouldn't be full. Only the radiator.

    It's been mentioned before the only way to check engine temperature correctly is to hook it up to a diagnostic tool / program.

    Normally have a bit in the expansion tank as theres a mim max marker ?when it's hot you go to re start and it spins over nice n quick then stops as if the clutch switch had cut in
