    Cable routing

    Hi all,
Can anyone point me in the right direction of links, diagrams or photos of clutch and throttle cable routing as new clutch cable seems to catch the clocks and clock mounts, especially on full lock to the right and after removing the throttle cables a long time ago, can't remember if the go through the frame, under or where?
Lesson learned........take lots of photos before removing anything!

I reckon it would be helpful to know what bike you're talking about.

My mistake then but I thought they were model specific areas to refer to

I was asking about a Tornado 900 tre if anyone has any links to information regarding the cable routing?

Hi, both cables bend and go round their respected shocker and in between shocker and headstock, don't know if this helps, tried photos but can not upload them.

No mistake! It's just that we're 'special'. We get lost sometimes and post stuff in the wrong place. On any other forum that would cause chaos and retribution.
    As to cable routing:-
The throttle cable routing can be seen in the photos below. The engine is not mounted in the frame at present, but the cables are in position.

The front brake line on this bike runs behind the bottom triple clamp, but if you route it in front it will be less constricted. At least that is what I understand. I'll try it next time I have the master cylinder off.
I can't show you the clutch cable routing because Nell doesn't have one. It's hydraulic, and requires the engine mounted to show it best.

Mea culpa. I just went to the recent posts page and didn't look at which part of the forum it was in.
