    Hi . A triumph 955i stepper motor is a straight swap part.
    Make sure you get the correct one with the connection in same position, there's a few options and I can't remember what year model it's off now.

    I ordered the Triumph part # T1240888--the available photos seem to have the correct orientation. I'll confirm when it arrives.

    The Triumph part above was ordered from Adept Powersports (Motorcycle, ATV/UTV, Snowmobile, Marine Parts, Apparel and Accessories - AdeptPowersports.com) for $121.86 with free shipping in the US. It arrived quickly and appears identical to the original part. I measured the two pistons and they had the exact same diameter--0.765 inches. It was installed with no issues and works fine. I coated the piston and cylinder with silicone lubricant.
