Well, I had a brief conversation with BBA last night & he was telling me about some of Sharky's stories, had me in stitches, so much so my sides hurt for an hour after, so is the effect Sharky had on people & I will remember him for having such a great sense of humour,

Hope all who attend his funeral give him a good send off, I will raise a glasss in his memory, and probably chuckle at his stories,

Just picked up on the sad news re Paul. Sounds like a top guy and I am sure he will get a fab sendoff. Klink count me in re the wreath and let me know how much you would like. RIP SHARKEY

Hi folks.

Had the wreath delivered as promised on behalf of all the guy on here.
Sorry I couldn't make it to the Crematorium.

The florists sent me a picture of the wreath, and I'd thought I'd share.

Sharky's funeral

Hi Guys

Thought I would share the day with you all, firstly got my bike out, wouldn't start! Thought to myself, Sharkys having the last laugh here but he forgot I fix bikes!:rolling:

Met up with Colin (Colin Tornado) and arrived at the crematorium to see a Black TNT shining in the glorious sunshine. Hi Adam, great to meet you mate!

The crematorium was packed, the service was both sad and happy, memories were re lived, which were tinged with sadness of the loss of a great bloke. The forum and forum members where mentioned as being a very special part of Sharkys life.

We left the ceremony to find Angus who had made a special journey in his lorry to attend. The flowers where beautiful, particular comments were made about the flowers from the forum members, Klink, great job mate it was really appriciated.

We met up again for the wake, which ended up more of a celebration of life, Sharky's family all spoke of how the forum and its members were a big part of his life and how much he loved his Benelli. Angus, Adam, Colin & I all spoke about the great and sometimes mad times we had with Sharky which really bought a smile on our faces. That's the way Paul would have wanted it to be!

Keep on riding my friend!

May I on behalf of Sharky's family say a huge THANK YOU to Colin, Adam & Angus for making the effort to attend, and an equally huge THANK YOU to all you forum members for the beautiful flowers and heartfelt wishes, it really meant a lot to Pauls family!

Thinking of arranging a rideout in July in memory of Sharky, if anyone is interested let me know.

Thinking of arranging a rideout in July in memory of Sharky, if anyone is interested let me know.
Lloyd, Thanks for the updates. I'm definitely interested but am pretty stitched for dates in July, apart from 21st / 22nd (and 22nd is the Sammy Miller Italian Day).

Klink, I am skint right now but will drop you a tenner for the flowers when I see you. Thanks for making the effort on behalf of the forum.

Like I've always said, You meet a better kind of biker on a Benelli. And the words and thoughts on this thread says it all. Pm sent Klink.

When you decided on a date i shall do my best...work permitting, about time i met some of the fantastic people on this site, and what better than in memory of Sharky.

Thanks Lloyd for the update, nice to know that paul's family learned of how well thought of he was by the forum members

well done to the lads who could make it to his funeral and gave the forum a face

And big Thanks to Klinks for arranging the floral tribute from us, well done mate they looked real good

Johnny.

It was exceptionally nice to meet up wth Lloyd, Colin and Angus at the funeral and to say that I was made welcome by the Forum members and the family of Sharky would be an understatement. I never met the chap but the stories from you all indicate that he was a larger than life character. A truly missed opportunity.

From what I learned of his life through family tributes portays a man who has achieved more in his short life than a multitude of others could achieve in their natural lifetime. I was in awe of Sharky and his life.

Please count me in on any tribute run and I look forward to meeting up with Forum members in the future.

Many thanks again for the company, hospitality and friendship.

Adam

Dates in july are difficult but a great idea and hope i can make it.

Many thanks to Klink for arranging the flowers.

Well done Klinka on the floral arrangement, lovely tribute.

Would be interested in a meet up in memory of Sharkey if it's in the first half of July.
