Christmas meet at Freds.

Why don't we do a Christmas meet at the ACE cafe in London.

Or alternatively....
We could have the Christmas meet at yours Fred.

You said you've moved into a bigger house with a double garage. Any chance of having a long table and chairs surrounding your two Tornado's mate and getting a couple turkeys in.
Oh and a nut cutlet in the shape of a turkey for me.;)

Lovely pictures Guys, what an excellent sight they make lined up like that!
Sorry that I missed the ride now but I really had to take out my associate as we were overdue.
Christmas ride seems a tad optimistic though. I don't mind a pinch of salt in my vegetables but don't want truckloads of it all over little Nell!
Keeping an eye open for further developments.

Ride out purely optional and unlikely! Last time we met up around the nec bike show and a few stayed over at a hotel. Ace cafe sounds like a decent idea

Salt on the roads:rolling: you seen the state of the economy wont be much of that going on this year, however i am up for Xmas at either the Ace or Freds. i will have the meat option none of that Linda mcCartney crap for me ta:D

Ps loved the picture of all the bikes lined up in front of the NO PARKING sign!!!!

Erm,as much as I like you guys on the forum,we WON'T be having a benelli Xmas lunch in my garage:rolling: :rolling:  :rolling: :rolling:

I was thinking about a meet up at the national motor museum at Gaydon. It's all a bit on the south side tho,so if any of our Northern friends have any ideas........(willing to put up any northern friends overnight prior to any run out)

Or a run down to the Ace cafe one Sunday,( bit of a boring motorway ride though)

Don't forget there's BSB at Silverstone coming up as well(although I think I might be on holiday then)

Summer is coming to an end ..............:(

.........and Donnington park on the 9th of september:clap:

The ACE is okay with me but it is motorway.

I'll google a few places and post em up for feedback.

How about a nice sunny  Sunday blast around the Cotswolds or Derbyshire with a stop off for a roast somewhere? Thats a roast dinner not something with a mate and his bird :D

I considered having a party at Middlewich in a similar way of my Derbyshire Parties , Food , Drink , talking Bikes and other such stuff (no Hot Tub Tho anymore :( ) . Ride out and plenty of room for parking on my drive and house plus should have the conservatory turned into a recreational room by then (yep pool table not S&M Room ) . Consider feedback off members :)

I cant think of a better way to introduce my neighbours to the dulcet sounds of ton's of :ele: 's

Hi all,

Great to meet everyone on Sunday, it was great to see such a plethora of beautiful Benelli's lined up! Great pictures Richard.

It was a shame we were all going different directions and couldn't do some riding together. I'm always up for ride outs and regularly head into Derbyshire and across into Wales on a Sunday so if anyone fancies a ride put a post up and I'll be up for it. It would be good to get some semi regular ride outs going. BSB meetings are a good shout.

Angledangle - I only live in Manchester and go riding with a mate who lives in Cuddington so drop me a line with your phone number and I'll give you a shout next time we go out if you like?

Fred - About the number plate, I thought I was being a smart arse by having it all on one line (I think they look neater than two rows) and to avoid unwanted attention from the plod I made it as big as I could without it looking rediculous. However, on a recent ride out into Derbyshire a bored plod with nothing else to do pulled me and informed me that letterbox style number plares are illegal on bikes after a certain year. So my plan back fired! As a result I'm going to get one on two row but rediculously small! If you're going to get pulled for having a non compliant number plate it might as well be tiny!!

As for Xmas parties, I don't mind a bit of a journey to accommodate you southerners. It would probably be a bit cold up north for you guys. Although, Manchester is a great venue for a night out?

899s every day of the week............. But then we would all say that:doh: :D
Sorry chaps, couldn't resist the MV Racing colour scheme....
Will have to wait until I can afford a reasonably priced Tornado and add it to the collection...!! (of 1 bike).
Still enjoying the Forum (beats VirginMedia TV..!) and would still like to meet up if you'll still let me...

Ps. Not sure how I got the effect on picture 3..?
It's an old iPhone 3GS, maybe God likes MV's...if he exists of course....:D

Your'e right Klink, I was on the 10M board with my toes dangling over...

Don't think the 'Major Failure' thread helped....

That's okay Dan. I totally understand where your coming from.;)
As far as I'm concerned your very welcome to join our ride-outs, not that I'm in charge.

The rest of us will just have to cross of another potential enthusiast as you weren't quite enthusiastic enough.:rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

Did you ever get a go on a Benelli Tornado mate.

Klink,

Definitely an 'enthusiast', well an Italian bike enthusiast.....:D

Not ridden the Tornado yet but managed to get a go on a TNT899S.
Really impressed with handling/engine/sound, although it was a bit dodgy around 4k, which I seemed to be at most of the time...!!

When I can afford a second bike, I'll be looking at a Tornado.
Maybe someone will let me have a go on one before then.....:ele:

Would still like to tag along to a 'meet' at some point

Ps.

Think I'll remove the post about buying the MV.

I feel like I've Hijacked the 'Meet' thread and it definitely looks like it's killed it stone dead......

Don't know why.....

You worry too much Dan.;)
Leave it as it is. I sold my last Tornado and then posted my Honda CB1000R. Caused a stir.:rolling: :rolling: Back on a Tornado again.
If you'd had a go on a Tornado bud, I guarantee you wouldn't have bought the MV. Not saying it's duff but the induction noise on a Tornado is music like no other.

Yes, that is me.

Some folk (me) never learn.

You could always get your goddam Mofo ass's to this years RTTW on Saturday 6th October, pick a good route to miss the shitty motorway & make a day of it & converge at the NMA & show some respect to the 16,000 or so names on the Wall, last years was in Gloriuos Sunshine,

And some cracking roads to choose from whether coming NESW ! ;)

Go on, you know you want to ! :D

(and whilst you listen to the service by the Mad Bish, I can sneak & Perv over your Benelli's,,,,,,Giggety !) ;)
