Here is a couple of photos of the mirrors. Sorry about the unscenic photos, but a Derby back garden is a Derby back garden!

Photo quality doesnt look too good when resized down to web format! Also, there seems to be a problem with my gallery so I can't put them in there either. They look better in the flesh (plastic) than in the pics and they certainly are better on the bike than around ÂŁ250 worth of genuine mirrors at todays prices.

What year Kawasaki? and I need you to be 100% positive that they are for the ER6F....got a part number??? also, are these aftermarket for the ER6F or OEM?

The pics arent working for me? How did you mount them ?

Here's a link to Keith's mirrors. They look pretty good. Not quite as sexy as the OEM's, but certainly passable. It looks like the clips have to be removed from the front frame, to allow access for the mounting bolts.

Is only the bottom mounting bolt used ?
It must be. The mounting centres are 40 mm, while the front frame centres are 32. The frame holes are elongated, allowing up to 37, but it's still short.

So how did you do it Keith?

Find Wiking thread on his aftrmkt mirrors.

Am on my phone so too hard:eek: I got em eBay. Cafe style off bar ends n way cool. Still got OEM in Nelli box. One of the originals cracked near pivot ball n Alan @ FX replaced 4 nix. 250 POUNDS for genuine!!! :bawl: Dat's freakn refrkndikulous!!!

Those are the ER6F mirrors? Not bad, it does look like one bolt is missing......Keith?

Now ciao, that is where you have to do a bit of work. Under the mirror and as part of the casting for the mirror base is a recess, braced with one thin piece of metal going one way and one strip going at right angles to it. These intersect at exactly where the benelli mirror mount needs to be. I then took a m5 bolt. Cut its head off to make a stud and then slotted it so that it was a very tight fit on the thin casting in the mirror base. Then i filled the recess with metal filler. This then allows the mirror to be mounted with one bolt and the stud. Then i filled in the unwanted bolt hole in the mirror base. Hope this helps.
