See this post Peter.

Steven, I got in touch with the guys at powerflow a while back to try and identify the injectors they used on your bike but after initially advising that they might be able to they never got back to me. I sent them a couple of email chasers but still no response.

Gee wiz! I thought they would help. I would take them your injectors and tell them you want something with similar flow but with a common spray pattern as found on most bikes. If you search previous posts members have tracked down the part numbers of the injectors I used.

It would be my pleasure if you came past and had a look. Share a beer or two! Although searching previous posts you guys had found them. They are the flex fuel ones from American v8s which I then put adapters on to connect to the stock harness. If you contact my partner on 0418504556 I will get a short video clip sent to your phone and you can here for yourself how crisp the bike sounds

We don't have a part number, though...

I think the reason this has come up is it was sort of left at "Steve - please can you post the Delhi part number so we can source the injectors here in the UK ....." unless I missed something.

"Flex fuel" isn't near specific enough when dealing with a Delphi catalog.

Here's what we know so far ...

7/7/10: evoluzione - Ken Zeller "i deal with a lot of fuel injectors so i will see what i can source for the benelli. i will also look at other injectors that may work as well or better - just give me a couple days."

AFAIK, Ken never came up with anything.

From Steven's post quoting the numbers on his injector, the relevant bit is :-
Denso 25326903

A set of 4 available at FiveO Motorsport. http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/domestic-high-performance-fuel-injectors/?itemid=1369

Different connector though. USCAR/EV6, instead of EV1/Bosch/AMP Timer, but it appears that there is a EV6 to EV1 converter available.

Rated as a flex- or multi-fuels injector - ie. all types of gasoline, E10, E85, etc.
This injector incorporates a 4-hole disc delivery to maximize atomization.

That should be enough to go by. Someone just needs to take the plunge.

I'm up for trying the swap as Steven's evidence seems fairly compelling.

My Tre runs pretty well so not sure what to expect but if we can clearly identify the alternative injector then I'll be giving it a go... :)

I'll have the tank and airbox off this winter to replace the coil sticks so now would be a good time!

cheers,
Dom

Folks, Supplier has been confirmed...at a bit cheaper than the FiveOmotorsports pricing. New parts, not reconditioned. Am waiting on shipping cost before I quote a "delivered" price.

I'm hoping to get a set to compare physically, flow rate them, dyno on standard and with replacements.
There are some problems though: I am time and cash short.
If anyone has the time and cash to put their bike through the dyno process(or even a number of people with different models) I'll be happy to get them flow rated, and then send the injectors FOC to anyone who can commit to getting the expensive bit done. We can all benefit from any alternative parts finds.

Any takers on covering this side please let me know in private.

If anyone just wants a set regardless, please pm or mail on myusername@gmail.com and hopefully if there are multiple orders the price can be renegotiated downwards.

I have contacted John at powerflow and shortly you will be able to cal him and ask for the benelli replacement injector. As soon as later this week. I will state that I am not sure if 900 owners are experiencing the same problems as 1130 TNT and tornado owners with stalling and misfires and over fueling. I really am sure that it will cure your 1130 machine along with a tps reset.
