I want another Tornado!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone is looking to sell their Tornado

I had a green \ silver 2 1\2 years ago what a bike!!! absolutely loved it :D

However under duress from S, H, M, B, O, because she couldn't\wouldn't go on the back i traded it in for a vfr800 to give my ears a rest! the viffer was a nice bike but totally soulless compared to the nelli and i missed the bike from day 1:bawl:


However i have now got the funds together to buy myself another nelli £4000 max and would prefer a RS or standard green\silver,red is also ok

I would like to buy from a forum member if possible as i know all the mods will have been done to the bike and i would be able to buy in confidence

considering recent purchase strongly advise advise a trip to spec save :D


Bigian, you should get a corker for that sort of money., There was a rather nice RS in the Northampton area for around 3500

but of course it would be red......:rolleyes:

There are a few owners on here who are looking to sell their :ele: on :bawl::bawl:
As Rick says, you should get a cracker for that sort of money, well sorted as you want, and all faults known......erm....at least that's what you can hope for....eh Klink? :doh:

Hi guys

Thanks for the reply's and the welcome back from JPF glad to be back!!

They do get under your skin Klink and have been looking at ways of getting another since day 1

Yaxi was a bit unlucky when he sold his bike cheap as i had got my finances in place and was looking at sending him a pm when he posted he had sold the bike:(

rick0705 do you know where the rs in the Northampton area is for sale i have been searching but can't find it for sale probably sold knowing my luck

It was on Ebay, and it had extended mirrors ftted if anyone else knows it. was a little while back but it got relisted a few times and didnt sell as far as i am aware.

There you go big IAN. Looks like the forum has its own shopping assistant. With delivery service. ........now if you go ahead and take up this offer and it arrives on a sleigh with Angus looking like a certain St Nick. I want pictures.:D

You guys are great:clap::clap::clap::clap::D :bow::bow: thanks for the e-bay link will be ringing as soon as i have written this post i hope Angus is right and he still has it. Hopefully he has the original mirrors as well as they look so good on the bike and are great for checking on your elbows:rolleyes:

As for pick up and delivery if i could do a deal that would be great thanks Angus, and if you do arrive in style dressed as St Nick i'm sure we can have some photo's taken for Rick

It's going to be mine

Hi Guys


Just to let you know that i have contacted the seller on Ebay and have agreed a deal for the RS :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

He is on holiday abroad for 5 weeks so i will have to wait until he's back to finalize the deal (oh my god the withdrawal symptoms)

Big thanks to Rick for pointing me in the right direction and Angus for the posting the link:clap: and the offer to pick up the bike I will be in touch

Absolutley Chris, but only about the red bit......well known fact the RS is second fastest after Green and Silver. :D


Nice one Ian the 5 weeks will fly by........ok I tried it will drag by :doh: But at least you've found one, I must say I ummmed and arrred over that one but at the time didn't have the asking price.

Glad it all came good and that my speedy look up for the link helped you make a quick move . I did text the owners mobiles (both ) this morning at 6.30 am to check if still for sale . Offer of moving it no problem I'll work into my schedule. I personally love the RS and think its a good buy . Shame the guys away for 5 weeks as xmas could of been fun for you Ian cleaning it etc etc . What part of the country are you in as I do regular trips to Scotland , Kent , Essex , North East , Yorkshire and can arrange Cornwall and South Wales into it . Live just off M6 nr Knutsford so able to do this when your ready .

Hi all

Angus i live just off junction 29 of the M6 just outside of Preston so i am fairly close to you and on your route up and down the motorway

I can't believe that i have to wait 5 weeks!!!!!! to get my hands on the :ele::bawl::bawl: i would like thank yourself and Rick for reminding me !!!

As for the green ones being faster than the red ones Rick i will find out in 5 or 6 weeks

Once again i can't thank you enough for the speedy help that you have given i wouldn't have found the bike without you we can hopefully meet up sometime and i can say thanks in person

Look on the bright side, at least it's the best 5 weeks not to have a bike, ice snow cold dirty salty roads :doh: I believe the owner is Spanish or Italian and has flown home for winter:rolleyes:,

as as for the speed thing Lets get things straight a red one isn't fast but the RS is faster than a standard red and the green is fastest of all even the green 900 is faster than an 1130 if it's not green:rolling: Eh Pip:rolling:


The 1 time red one is the fastest is Xmas day :clap:

As as for meeting up,,,,,,,Scotland 2014 meet And being in Preston it's virtually just down the road for you:rolleyes:
