I have just joined the forum and would like to say Hi to everybody
I am looking to buy a 2012 1130 TNT, being new to Benelli is there any issues I should be concerned with ie z25 etc
any help would be much appreciated
The bike I am interested in has done 9000miles.
many thanks

Welcome to the forum.
From my perspective z25 is the only structural thing to look into when buying tnt/tornado.
It needs to get done though.
Forget about 'i bought a 2012 TnT' as opposed to one built in 2011. I bought a '2009' tornado1130 new.
When it arrived at the dealers there was serious 'dust' on it. Had to clean it. Later i learned they only built them in 2007.
The factory builds 'em for three months then sells them for 4 years. That my impression. I shouldn't have suffered z25 but i did.

Don't let me scare you. Other than z25 (on tnt/tornado) the other problems you encounter on jap bikes too.
That triple roars like all multiples of '3' do: sixes and twelves... You're in good company ;)
And on this forum especially.

Z25 is one issue but easily rectified, just check it's got the correct washer, and ensure its checked periodically for the correct torque.......which involves removing the bolt and re touring with loctite. A new washer/ bolt is also recommended.

The starter sprang can give issues, but until it happens IF it happens I'd not worry, also starter cables can be unrated to assist starting but on the whole. Just buy and enjoy I am on my second 😃
