You're right, but I'm right down on the South Coast and don't have much spare time right now, it would be a logistical nightmare to go and fetch it - especially as I've just put my back out at work, riding it back would probably kill me! Have only just moved back into my house after a fire and can't find my leathers, boots and waterproofs! At least I found my helmet and gloves.
Going to see one of the two bikes available tonight, it looks as though it was well looked after.

Back in the game! Some mad fella from Scotland seems to have been bidding on all the Benellis on eBay but not actually buying them, so now there are two that I have a chance of getting. :)

That'll be Laurance then...Benelli loving fool that he is.

If you find one you like but it's far away I'll collect and move down for the price of a burger and coffee ........ Always down south but live Cheshire ...... Just a thought if stuck .

Thanks for the offer, but I've done the deal now! My back pain is easing off, must be the adrenaline kicking in - and that's just from looking at it! Should be picking her up on Sunday :)
Thanks everyone for all the advice, hope to talk again soon.

Wish you'd have said, could have met up sooner- i'm only in west lancs, about 25 mins from warrington etc so you can't be much further away than that, are you going to Llanbikefest by anychance?

Oh, I'm right down South near Brighton! Well, the deal's done now! The chap is giving up biking for now, so he's thrown in the trickle charger and paddock stands and some odds and sods. It does look to be well looked after, probably a lot better looked after than its new owner! Just going to clear space in the garage, it's getting tight in there, there's already a Yam 350B, Kwak H1a, Kwak S2a, NS400r, and an RG500!

Back in the saddle.

Oh boy! Haven't been able to play a tune with the induction roar since I had my Matchless! What a sound. My clutch wrist aches after 75 miles and I was a bit panicky about overheating in a traffic jam, but all's well. Think my head's shrunk though, the bl**dy helmet kept slipping over my eyes! Solution: fold one of my socks in half and stick it inside the lid.

That roar is the biggest thrill, when you are used to it you should be able to keep it at that rpm and just ride around making a whole lot of noise making your ears bleed and every old person in sight think 'Ze germans' are coming hehehe.
No need for open cans, stubby's etc, that roar has it all and is standard :) enjoy your new bike pal [emoji1303]

Any tips on how to adjust the angle of the clutch lever? Tried all the Allen bolts and screws, but all I could move was the lever itself which then hit the switchgear. There's a mark on the handlebar which isn't aligned to the one on the headstock but I'm b*ggered if I can get it to move! Just want the lever a bit lower down for comfort.

I don't have the standard Tre nor have i tried to adjust my levers to an attack position but on previous bikes i have been able to loosen the clip on tube in the clamp and just rotate the whole tube thus maintaining the position of everything still.
