I go to a few classic bike meets. Get quite a few odd looks when I suggest that my cr and 1130 are the rarest bikes there by a long way!
 
There was 197 1130 Tornado's produced , 2 broken and 8 were used for Ladies Italian Superbike Championship and Endurance . There's currently 3 unregistered but one has had parts removed to repair another on a warranty claim . There are I believe 15 in the U.K. Including unsold models . The largest area with this model is Germany and France and Italy with also one in Cyprus and one in Denmark . A private collector has a black/silver 1130 in Jersey . I only know of two in the USA and of course the limited specials created for Canada by a Benelli Dealer one was used for the building of a V6 engine by HSR Benelli and the chassis was up for sale in Italy.

Dont forget the other Tornado which is the All Carbon Frame with the 900 RS engine and RS components sat in Germany .
 
At least 3 in Norway , only 1 registered to my knowledge.
Very interested to find more, if you take the 10 taken out for racing, even allow 15 for the UK, although I think only 9 have appeared registered, so 6 in collections, add another 10 or so scattered over the rest Europe. That would make 150 or so missing . that's all the LE s ever plated.
Regularly scan Ebay Italy , Germany and France
They don't appear very often , if at all, so who has got them all ?
Are there crated ones still out there , if so where and how much ?

If they are crated and not registered - aren`t they in trouble after 01.01.2017 with the EU Euro4 laws ? So they can`t get them registered ? That`s the case in Norway anyway..

No We opted out, remember. Article 50 looms.
If we can find them , at the moment anyway, we can register them here and store them even longer. Errol might be right, they could be worth more than Vincent Black Shadows in the long and distant future .

Just to find the missing legion and a half, (150) would be a step in the right direction.
 
They were distributed in Germany / Holland / Italy / France . There's a lot in Holland if you contact the club organiser Peter he's aware of a fair few there . I knew there was a few in the Norwegian region but didn't know if they're stuck in crates still . It's the same scenario with LE's they're out there but not easily apparent where all are . Just like Errol said in years to come they'll appear in auctions as a rare Italian Heritage Piece and be snapped up .
If you've got one now appreciate the rarity of your bike as they are as raw as the R160 , who wouldn't want one of each :)

If there are any still crated (odds are there will be) in the uk at least they are now in private hands.

There is a 15 plated red Tre on ebay at the moment, claiming to be the "only " one, seller Busa161 item 252705442815 ÂŁ6250
Upnorthwill says he knows of two RS on 15s, perhaps you should tell the ebay seller.
