No probs Kurt, I'll keep you posted. Are you going to Butlins should be a good weekend with JT doing so well in MotoGP.

Looking at the route finder the better road to Lakenheath will be the A1-A17 so we will make plans around that if enough are up for it.

Ps just signed up for the Advanced Motorcycle Course, went for 1st assesment on saturday and got a glowing report fron my observer so much so that he thought I was a ex cop rider, how funny is that :rolling:

I am not going to be drawn into commenting on that Steve !! :rolling:
(He probably means - did he see your TreK shooting off from ol plod near Buxton last summer - when your BMW mate was on board !!!)
I reckon that must be the tenuous link to his reference of ol plod !!!

Seriously tho - sounds like you tricked him good and proper !!! hhaahaa

I have often thought of doing my advanced too :)

is there a time thats considered for going to this event as logistics will mean some up at 5am to others out of bed much later,i'm happy to get out of a nubile blondes bed late :D but the wife would have other ideas (did i say she's not blonde !!!!).

I recommend the IAM training and testing. I have passed, it made be faster, smoother and there is always a club run out over the weekend, as well as track days.

ExJapSteve the first ride is always the taster see how things progress next week. Every one learns on this training.

Every biker:clap: should do it.

That'll ding dang do for me

My self and the current Mrs Pony could be tempted to take a run over but mite stop in a B & B or similar hostilry (how do you spell that  ) then come back the day after. Or i mite go on my own, , , (short on pass outs to be honest :( ) either way can't see a prob. :D (but it is several weeks off and things change :( )
Would be nice to meet one and all

Tell you guys...this is a good central location in the country...a little bit biased towards the london side distance wise but should be a good day. I look forward to it!

Jonny, I just hope the weather is kind to us - this will be my last weekend whilst on official duties with the military - I go on termination/resettlement leave on the 30th April, so will have a massive grin on my face that no one will be able to shift!

Do we get to have a look at some of your fire power too?

hmmm

I don't foresee a problem with taking you guys on a bit of a tour. The simulator will be closed so no sim time mind you but to go take a look at the jets....let me see what I can arrange. I was also thinking about a cookout afterwards so everyone heads home with a full stomach. You guys have never had the previlage of a Harburger!!! They are amazing if I do say so myself...and I did! I just need a definite headcount so I can acquire enough.....ahhemm....meat to feed you hungry lot!

Sounds great Jonny - one slight problem for me, I've converted to eating rabbit food!

Throw me a couple of carrots and I'll stick them in a sesame bun instead!

vegie

I may be able to perform sacralige and allow a veggie burger on my grill. For me, if it doesnt bleed it doenst hit my plate. Besides, cows eat veggies before I eat them so I am eating veggies in a round about way!!!!

Thanks mate, it's not that I am adverse to the occasional bit of meat - the better half of the moment is Veggie, I tried it and within 4 weeks I could get back into my leathers again - brilliant way to lose weight, mind you the recent weight loss might be due to the constant exercise I'm doing in the bedroom, lounge, bathroom, kitchen, stairs.... err, enough of that, this is a family site!:rolling:

I'm with you Johny... in fact can we have a "kill it and eat it" bbq?? :rolling:

Anyone else from the Midlands or thereabouts planning on going? Jurek?

Col

Oh dear what have I started now  It was all meant in jest.
LOL, Do you honestly think I'd get offended?:rolling: Up until January I'd have never even contemplated it, it's just a case of making life choices, at the moment I am eating veggie, mainly because I have lost a stone by doing so; but also because the current squeeze is one and it is just easier and keeps the peace!

I sometimes long for a burger or bacon sandwich, but to be honest, the food I have tasted thus far has been tasty enough for me not to be tempted back!
