Just been on a trip out to deliver a part in the Yorkshire dales around Hawes. And I have 2 thoughts
1/ £20 to do 90 miles isn’t good
2/ I need to soften the suspension
or grow claws so I can hold on

Not really sure what the post is about ?
Yes, Benelli,s are not the most economical bikes, £20 so 90 miles is about 30 to the gallon. fuel prices now are 30 % MORE THAN 12 MONTHS AGO. Most bikes return about 30 to 40 mpg.
About right for a 1130 triple. Hard suspension, I find stock Trek suspension a bit vague, even wobbly at speed, sort of gyrates at speed under load. Very similar to a 1000 SV Suzuki.
Hang on ? It is hardly the most powerful delivery. torque ,yes , but not arm socket pulling.
And I am an old git .

Mine just did 175miles with 2.4L left in the tank on a recent trip to Shropshire and north wales .
Was getting a little concerned then found this petrol station !!

maybe get her tuned if the map isn’t very good .
You could just get a softer rear spring and cut about 10mm of the front preload spacers ??

Christ, I have never got 175 miles out of any of my Nellies.
I must come out with you for the day and sit behind you , at your pace.
All I want to know is , who is carrying the spare can of fuel ?

Just ordered a 37 tooth rear sprocket from an Amazonas so I hope it fits the Tre899k wheel. Got to get the Andreani cartridges in and fit the 12 hole injectors I bought from Pete.

All sounds great Glynn.. but I believe the Amazonas rear sprocket won’t fit .. different hub arrangement to the trek .(I may be wrong . Rear disc doesn’t fit)
I’ve just put the 36tooth back on mine along with a brand new x-ring D.I.D .. on my mini break in Shropshire I discovered the gearbox explosion also ruined my chain !

The centre hole is 76mm Tre k and TNT but Amazonas is 100mm but luckily i messaged the seller and they cancelled and refunded the money. So got a TNT chain sprocket kit with wait for it a 41 tooth rear eeek. I usually only do B and C roads so should be ok.
