poor fuel consumption solutions

Hi!

I got the 1130 running nicely so I started to take a look at the consumption. It drinks 12L/100km which does not make any sense since my other bike takes 5L/100km so something has to be done!

I have few options:

1. Maniac motors injector set and map for awful price 450€, does anyone have experience in using their set and map how did it end up consumption vise?

2. Buy decent bosch injectors locally for 100€ and run oem map. Would it affect the consumption?

3. Buy decent bosch injectors locally for 100€ and run custom map that I already have for the sport exhaust. The map is made by tuner back in the day but the map is for oem injectors.

Bosch injectors with 4hole pattern and same mac flow in cc:

I will try the new tune and sport exhaust of course at first because it does not cost anything but what should I do? If I buy the bosch injectors I assume I would anyway have to visit tuneshop to remap it in dyno.

actually I use these on my 900 EV14, 12 ohm, 339cc, C20, long spray end, Jetronic, O-O 34mm (Bosch 0280158038) - Injectors and their accessories Injectors up to 450 cc/min (14mm) - Finjector.com with a slightly modified standard map (reduced some values that didn't make sense via TuneEcu)
Did not measured consumption but should be around 8l/100km

I do not think anyone who has the 1130 R160 rated engine, has good economy figures. Normal returns are 160 klms/100 miles from full tank to two bars and the fuel light on. A good fast 80 miles will achieve the same result, gentle cruising (does anyone ride a Benelli like that ?) you might get 120 miles.. Injectors either Bosch or Denso are not going to improve economy much, it will run smoother but still use the go juice.

I got 100km to fuel light which is 60km less, I am aiming for those numbers!

Needed to read the article description 3 times to notice the most important detail "flow matched". Its written in the smallest letters on the page.
They are a bargain!
My daughter currently works in Helsinki, I need her to pick up a set for me :)

No, IIRC mounting size is all the same for these injectors, best to check their data sheets.
