What are you lot paying /using for coils, there is an ebay shop selling Berus for £145 each?, is this reasonable. I would like to replace all 3 as i think i've used my 9 lives with the current bunch . I know that some triumph and citroen ones fit but before you jump in I don't have a lathe or cad machine/workshop to change the shape and molecular structure of a coil from a Renault Espace for £7.50 to make it fit. I would rather plug and play if possible or minor mods that my limited capability can handle, i have the 2 pin cable connectors.

i think i'll cut it off and use a superseal, i can't see anything that matches it, they look like they have thinner male pins .

I compared the connector on my spare Beru coil with the connectors on the Yaosong coils from Aliexpress - the connector bodies and pins have minor differences but the same connector fits both (provided it is the correct way up. The top and bottom keys have different spacing to prevent reverse connection). The Beru pins look a bit thinner but I think it is just because the ends are squashed to create a chamfer for easy entry into the female terminals. I did not go to the trouble to dismantle the connectors to measure the pins but the female terminals for the connectors I purchased have the ability to accommodate variation in male terminal thickness (See the pictures attached). I have not fitted the Aliexpress coils to my bike so I cannot confirm the connectors are a comfortable fit to those on the TreK wiring loom but I don't expect any problem.

Thanks for taking the trouble, I've ordered the 2 pin females as you've shown ,to fit my loom. I've decided to cut off the coil connector and modify them with the 2 pin and a fly lead earth like my berus.

A sensible solution. I would extend the centre wires and use crimp lugs to earth them under the retainer cap nuts.
