OIL STRAINER

Hi All,
Whoever has a Imperiale 400 then see a picture of a plug with oil strainer that you can remove every oil change, there was some minor dirt in the stainer from when the engine was new build... The stainer is not really clear explained in the manual, so hope this picture helps.

Crash Bar installed, I actually ordered a really cool one from India, but the order was cancelled, then I bought this one from Italy, not as nice as the Indian one but it does the job "I hope"

I installed 2 very small high beams LED, very nice and bright enough, but have 3 different colours when switched on, ha ha not what I expected , also on my bike the high beam is only for passing, it cannot stay "on" maybe other IMPERIALE is the same? EDIT: of course you have to switch on the engine to "on" the high beam switch, and the pass switch works with engine off, sorry

I used the same mounting bracket as another member and they worked well, I used a water pipe & paint with truck-bed-paint & double sided tape to protect the Benelli paint.

The Imperiale headlight is easy to take apart but an absolute drama to put back together, i can forsee the future already that this will break after 2 time doing a small job inside this headlight, a small "lip" was bent already

As you can see, my front fork seal is leaking and the CRASH BAR touched the front fender and this created a small dent, so I will upgrade the internal springs and heavier Fork Oil

So I decided to replace the seals 41*54*11 oil & dust seal, with 450 ml of iPON grade 15 Oil

Only 1 fork tube at the time so the headlight doesn't fall apart

You cannot remove the chrome tube without a special tool so I made my own, a flatbar 24 mm as per below picture

So then you can remove the ALAN KEY on the bottom of the tube by holding inside the tube with this flatbar

Of course the Oil Seal needs to be set with a driver so I cut a water pipe as per attached picture, it works fine

All bolted together again and filled the tubes

Just look up some YouTube videos and 6 hours of your time
