Hi Guys, the shipped price to me for the rears is working out at ÂŁ50 per disc which is around a 17% saving from the ebay price.

Insured delivery to addresses within the U.K. will be covered in the ÂŁ15 charge for the fronts, so there is no extra cost in postage.

For those ordering the rear rotor, be careful about fitting different bolts. The head is only 4 mm high, so that the speed sensor doesn't foul with it.
Another thing to consider is how deep the countersinking of the bolt holes are (or how thick the disc is at the counterbored holes) I'd assume the Brembos are the same as the BMW rotors, Maybe someone can check somehow:confused:

I'm going to get one of the rears shipped over to Engenia to check the fit before we commit to the rest.
However, I will be confirming the order and paying for the fronts and the Ti bolts up front so could do with being squared up for these pretty quick.

Can those that have ordered the front discs/bolts contact me by email to sort out the payments? white@laurence.fslife.co.uk

How is the timescale working out on this, Laurence? Are you ordering all the fronts, plus bolts, and paying for them, but asking them to delay shipping until they have sent a rear to Errol to check out?

Why not just get them to send a rear to Errol first, and then order everything together once he has checked it out? Or are you planning on them sending the rears separately, if they are OK? That would involve you sitting on the fronts and bolts until the rears arrive, but that would be dearer, though, wouldn't it, even if it cost an extra ÂŁ8 to send one rear to Errol to check out?

Cheers
Ian

In order to get a discount on the rear for Engenia, I'm intending to order all the fronts and 1 rear. They will send a pair of fronts and the rear to Errol and when he confirms the rear is O.K. I'll order the remaining rears later so they can be shipped to me allong with the fronts.

The bolts are comming from a different supplier so these will be ordered separately.

The orders will go in just as soon as I can get the payments for the fronts and bolts gathered in.

Payment for the rears can be arranged as soon as we get confirmation that the fit is O.K.

Have started a new job and almost missed this. I'll have gold ones for the front and a rear too please. Will also take the bolts. If you let me know how much you want Lau, I'll paypal it over.

Of course, I blame Ian for making me spend this money.
I hardly think you need them, Lee; you can't have worn yours out already? :rolling:

But, to a man of your means.......;)

Cheers:D

Delivery times

I am a bit concerned about delivery times. They quote 13-25 days, although they say that usually it takes 3-7 days to reach the destination country. It then has to clear customs, and be delivered. That would be to Errol. He checks them out, then we have the same again to you, Laurence. You then have to repackage them, and send them on to us. I could be going to Portimao in May with no discs, at that rate. On the other hand, they may arrive by the middle of April.

As I said a week ago, I was about to order then.

I think the only way I can get involved in this is to pay you, Laurence, and you arrange for a set of gold fronts, plus a rear, to be sent to me direct, as you are doing with Errol. Otherwise I will have to order on my own.

Is that ok with you?

Cheers:D

They got them to me in the U.S. via Fed Ex in 4 days, not sure how long it would take to the U.K. Was sooner than I expected for sure:)

Cheers Lee but she will be thinking that I'm up to something if I turn up with a bunch of flowers. She will probably think that I'm going to try and sweet-talk her into buying another bike or something. Hey, on second thoughts, I might just try it and see what reaction I get :rolling:
