Did anyone see the article that was in MCN a couple of weeks ago that stated that Benelli was working with a specialist engine designer on a 348bhp V8

V8?

:p

I sure did Laurence but the engine looked a bit big to fit into a sports bike. Did you also notice that there were no company markings on it. What would you put it in, a cruiser or tourer? I wouldn't think Benelli would make one of those. Would sound great though!:D

I don't put much faith in what MCN report as half of it is a load of Bo**ocks!

In my gallery you will see a picture of a Morbidelli V8 I saw when in Pesaro. It was a fully working model but never made it into production because of the cost! As you will see, it sure aint no sports bike!:rolling:

Hi Lloyd,

Where about in Pesaro did you see the Morbidelli and the classic models?

Pesaro museum

:p

:hiya: Laurence, I can go one better than that, here is the website for you.:D

Associazione Museo Morbidelli, www.museomorbidelli.it or the email address is [email protected].

The address is, Associazione Museo Morbidelli, Via Fermo, 39, Pesaro, Italy.

We visited this fantastic museum whilst we were there, all of us that went agreed that it was THE best museum we had ever been too. I have many more photo's of the trip on my pc.

We spent over 4 hours there and could have spent twice that time! all for the princely sum of 6 euro's!!!
:excited: :excited:

Bugger.........I was in Pesaro a couple of times at the end of last year but I didn't know that this museum even existed.

Must keep it mind if I'm ever back again.

Cheers,
