What battery is needed for the 500cc Quattro. It is a disc front brake model from about 1975. Also, anyone have any ideas on how many went to Australia?

Well a few looks but no answer! I may as well ask an easier question since the frames on the Quattro and the Sei are almost identical I would think that that the batteries are probably the same. So, what battery fits the 750 Sei?

Richard,
Thanks for the reply. I will look for a battery here in Australia.

Rob,
I have a third Benelli 500 coming in a week or two and it will be worth posting photos as it is new, as is the 750 I have. The other 2 500's are being worked on pretty soon. One is a runner and the other is up for sale, preferably as a restorer. I have been busy finishing a couple of other bikes so I will get there with photos soon.

The new Quattro has arrived and needs a good clean as it has been sitting for some time. It is a 1978 model with 1 mile on it. I have started the big clean and it is coming along fine. It will be still a bit of time until it will be presentable to photograph... but eventually.

I haven't finished tidying up the Quattros but thought I would post a few photos. The blue 500 is new but has been sitting for a long time. The red 500 was recently regularly used and the 750 is basically new.

Just a quickie... Most suppliers list the wrong sized battery for the Quattro carefully check the battery tray before buying. You can just about fit an Odessy PC680 sealed battery in there.

Chris,
I recently bought a PC 680 for another bike that I restored, so I will take a look to see if it fits. It would certainly save a bit if it does. Thanks for the info.
