Hi everyone, I have a chance to grab some high tensile 10mm bolts to use as replacements on the alternator, Can anyone give me the length and does the bolt have a shank or is it threaded up to the hex?

M10x1.25 25mm long 8.8 (or better) set screw - threaded all the way to the head.

The one supplied by Benelli had it's head machined down to 5.1mm height, but I measured the clearance between the 2 bolts (drive shaft & alternator shaft), & found that it wasn't necessary. A standard 8.8 head, with a height of 6.5mm, gives plenty of clearance. You should measure yours though, just to be sure.
